It is very easy to generate an automatic invoice for Odoo E-commerce order. For that install the E-commerce module from the apps first:
Then go to Website module and change some configuration settings
Website>Configuration>Settings:
In settings go to Invoicing portion and enable the Automatic Invoice:
After enabling this property it will generate the invoice automatically when the order confirmed.
