Odoo E-Learning is a new module introduced in Odoo 13 version. The main vision of Odoo by this module is that which enables the user to manage and publish an E-Learning platform. Odoo E-learning module is use to create courses, configure quizzes and earn badges while attending courses. This is helpful for conducting internal training at the company for employees and also helps in easy on-boarding. In this blog, we are going to discuss the “Odoo 13 E-learning module”.
After installing the module, goto that module. Then you can see eLearning overview. From here user can create and also configure new channels by clicking on the create button or going to eLearning -> Courses -> Courses
From here user user can give course title and also add lessons to the course.
Under the Description tab user can add descriptions about the course.
Under the Options tab user can fill the following details like Course type, email policy, responsible, websites, allow rating, forum, visibility, featured content, etc.
In the Karma Rules tab user can set the reward points for a particular action.
eLearning -> Courses -> Contents
Under the Document tab-user can add all the documents needed for the lesson. User can add video, infographics, webpages, quiz, certification, document files in a lesson. In the document section user can fill the following fields like course, type, attachment, uploaded by, allow preview, duration etc.
Under the External Links tab user can add titles and external links which helps the students to learn much better about the subject or link related to the modules.
Under the Quiz tab user can configure the rules, the questions, the marks, and the correct answers for the quiz.
For adding questions click on the Add a line Under the Questions. From here user can add questions and answers, the correct answer can be marked using the check box.
Website -> Courses
User can see all the courses by clicking on the Courses button and also user can join in a course by clicking on the Pick a course button.
After clicking on the Pick a course button user can search for courses by using three filters like Your level, Your Rules, Tags, etc.
User can select any course from the website and start learning. He can also review the code and test his knowledge by doing quizzes on the course.
At the Home tab of the courses, the user can view a dashboard consist of the user activity status that is currently logged in including current rank, next rank, etc.
