An internal transfer refers to the movement of goods between different locations or warehouses within the same organization. This could involve transferring stock from one warehouse to another, relocating items within a single warehouse, or adjusting inventory based on operational needs. Effective management of internal transfers ensures optimal stock levels and improves overall warehouse efficiency.
Configuration
First, we have to configure multiple locations by enabling Warehouse settings. After that go to
Inventory →operation→internal
We can find all the internal transfers here. By clicking the new button we can create a new transfer.
Set all the necessary details like contact, operation type, source location, destination location, etc, and validate the transfer.
By clicking the moves button, we can see the movement of the product.
Here we can see that the product has transferred from the source location to the destination location.
