Odoo 13 Inter Company Transaction

An  Intercompany Transaction is defined as transaction between a parent company and its subsidiaries or other related entities. It is used to manage the product transfer between multiple companies. Odoo creates Sales Order from one company and Purchase Order in another company if warehouses belongs to different companies. Here, we will see how inter company transaction takes place in Odoo 13.

First we have to enable Inter company transactions option in general settings :

Settings>General Settings>

 

Let us check how it works :

At first we have to create a sales order in sales module to other company.

Sales>Orders>Quotations>create>

 

After confirming the sales order create and post the invoice for that sales order.

Create invoice>post>

 

Then, switch the company to that company to which the sales order is done and go to purchase module. Then we have seen that there will be an RFQ that is created automatically.

And then confirm the RFQ.

 

 

Then click on receive products and validate it.
