Odoo Point of Sale (POS) is a mechanism that enables companies to simplify and optimize the public's everyday sales activities; coordinate and correctly handle the information collected from the sales. The Point of Sale (POS) enables sales to be worked out easily and efficiently and is structured so that retail businesses, as well as large wholesale companies, can use it without any difficulty. Odoo’s online Point of Sale application is based on a simple, user friendly interface. The Point of Sale application can be used online or offline on iPads, Android tablets or laptops. Here, we discuss in detail about the Odoo POS Payment Method Configuration.
You need to install the Point of Sale application to have the facility.
To add a new payment method for a Point of Sale, go to POS under Configuration Tab.
Point of Sale --> Configuration --> Point of Sale --> Payment Methods -->Create
Click Save after entering the details.
We can see the payment method that we added so far.
Click on the dots in the highlighted area, then go to Settings.
Click on the Payment Methods link to add the journal we have just created.
Now start a new session in POS and select some items to proceed.
Click on the Payment icon.
We can now see the payment mode that we have created.
