Setting Forum On Odoo Website

By default all forums are visible to everyone, logged in users and not logged in users, all partners etc. But, by default forum isn't trigger by it self. To activate forum module go to odoo apps and install it.

What is web forum?

A Web forum is a website or section of a website that allows visitors to communicate with each other by posting messages. Most forums allow anonymous visitors to view forum postings, but require you to create an account in order to post messages in the forum. Web forums are available for all kinds of topics. Since Web forums are comprised of user-generated content (UGC), they continue to grow as long as users visit the site and post messages. Because Web forums are constantly growing, they have become a large part of the Web.

Click on the Forum tab on the odoo website to start creating a Forum website.

After entering the forum, click on the “ Ask a Question” tab and then provide the question title, description and also the tags associated with it.

The format for the Forum is set. Now you can use the Forum module. And also interact with the customers.

Type your question on description box and thereafter post it.

Also there is a discussion mode and link submission options.
