How To Set Decimal Accuracy In Odoo

Decimal Accuracy of a number is the no of the digit to the right of decimal point. In Odoo ERP product price, discount, payroll, measure etc are represented in decimal notation. It is easy to set  Decimal Accuracy In Odoo. This feature helps the user to decide how many values to be displayed as decimals in each category.

Now let’s discuss how to set Decimal Accuracy in Odoo 11.

Configuration
First of all, go to the product and check the price of the product.

Here you can see that sales price is 320.00 rupee. The digits after the decimal point are 2.

we can change the decimal

go to:

Settings→Technical→Database Structure→Decimal Accuracy

Here you can see usage and decimal. Select one of from usage

Set Digits.

Here Digits refers the no of digits after the decimal point.

Save changes.

Then go to the product and check sales price.

Note: If it doesn’t change, just refresh your page.

Here the sales price of a product gets changed to 4 decimal points.

Similarly, we can set decimal accuracy of Discount, Stock weight, a Product unit of measure, Payment terms, Payroll etc.
